Retalix to Showcase Latest Grocery Retail Offerings At NRF's Big Show 2008
Attendees Can Participate in Interactive Demos and Discussions At Booth #2523
DALLAS, Jan. 13, 2008 -- Retalix(r) (Nasdaq:RTLX), a global provider of software solutions for retailers and distributors, announced today that it will demonstrate the latest software enhancements for its suite of enterprise, store and point-of-sale (POS) applications during the National Retail Federation's (NRF) 97th Annual Expo at the Jacob R. Javits Convention Center in New York, Jan. 14-15 (Booth #2523).
Visitors to the Retalix Booth can expect updates and overviews on the following:
-- Extended POS capabilities - Retalix StoreLine integrated with
Retalix Loyalty(tm) and central promotions, Retalix Fuel, Retalix
QSR, Connected Payments and enhanced Pharmacy interface
capabilities.
-- New POS features - advanced capabilities including FSA (Flexible
Spending Arrangement) support to handle the latest federal
mandates; enriched graphics to simplify cashier training; and
magazine issue code scanning for better inventory tracking.
-- Enterprise scalability and ease-of-use improvements - Retalix HQ
version 7.1 added Sell-Thru Pricing for enhanced 'rule-based
pricing'; Pricing Calculator was added to simplify changes to
targeted groups of item prices; Category Analyzer and BillBack
Manager were re-engineered to boost performance with large
deployments.
-- "One version of the truth" synchronized throughout the enterprise
- Retalix InSync Master Data Management (MDM), a centralized,
enterprise-wide data repository for storing and maintaining core
business entities. The SOA architecture of Retalix InSync MDM,
designed specifically for food retailers, allows them to uniquely
customize, localize and personalize their solution to manage all
their operational data.
-- GDSN synchronization - Retalix InSync Data Staging (GDSN), a
robust data synchronization tool that handles electronic transfer
of standardized item and location information between the Global
Registry, the Supplier and the Retalix InSync application.
-- Demand-based analytics - Improvements to Retalix DemandAnalytx
(DAX) include an "aggregated order forecast" feature that allows
corporate buyers to view groups of demand-generated orders based
on actual sales, rather than shipment history. The "buyer
analysis" screens give enhanced visibility to past promotions;
"pick list" functionality added to facilitate the restocking
process, and "shelf-life" logic has been improved for date
sensitive products.
-- Network-based store back office - Retalix Thin Store manages DSD
receiving and ordering; item maintenance and price verification;
inventory transfers, adjustments and cycle counts; as well as
pick lists and store orders. Modules have a browser interface to
eliminate store software maintenance and upgrades.
-- Connected Payments - an electronic payments solution designed to
cut merchants' payments expenses by up to 25 percent or more and
exempts grocers from nearly all PCI mandates and costs. Connected
Payments keeps all bank card data separate from the POS system
while maintaining complete functional integration. It also
supports new Flexible Spending Arrangement (FSA) mandates and
remotely archives grocers' FSA transaction data.
