U.S. Distributor and Retailer Expands Partnership with Retalix to its 109 Grocery Stores
Dallas, TX, January 8, 2007 Retalix® (NasdaqGS: RTLX), a global provider of enterprise-wide software solutions for food retailers and distributors, announced today that Lowes Foods Stores, Inc., a subsidiary of Alex Lee Inc., will be implementing Retalix DemandAnalytX (DAX), a demand forecasting and order optimization application. Lowes Foods operates over 100 grocery stores in North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virginia.

The application is built on data logic, demand logic, and order optimization. This process removes anomalies from the ordering process to create accurate orders and forecasts. The DAX solution is fully web-enabled, and provides collaborative tools to improve product availability, inventory management and overall supply chain efficiency.
Implementation of Retalix Demand AnalytX in Lowes Foods is expected to be completed in 2007.
