Pro's Ranch Markets Completes Rollout of Retalix Price Management Software
California-based Independent Grocer Ensures Pricing Integrity Across All Stores in Four States With Retalix HQ
DALLAS - March 11, 2009 - Retalix(R) (NASDAQ: RTLX), a leading provider of enterprise-wide software solutions for food retailers and distributors, today announced that Pro's Ranch Markets, one of the fastest-growing Hispanic supermarkets in the U.S., has completed the rollout of Retalix HQ price management software.
Retalix HQ is a centralized, rules-based price management solution that provides item, vendor and inventory management capabilities. It enables grocers to control authorized items, sources of supply, costs and prices, and standardize pricing best-practice disciplines for consistent execution of its price strategy.
With nearly 100 grocery clients representing more than 5,000 stores, Retalix HQ is widely considered the industry leader in price management.

Provenzano also said that Retalix HQ has been tightly integrated with the ISS45 point-of-sale (POS) system from Retalix subsidiary StoreNext Retail Technologies. This allows Pro's Ranch Markets to rapidly communicate price changes from its Ontario, California, headquarters to more than 350 POS terminals across the organization.
"We selected Retalix HQ because it's a highly integrated, state-of-the art solution that's also very easy to use," Provenzano said. "We felt that combination best met our needs for price management."
Pro's Ranch Markets also currently uses Retalix Category Analyzer for tracking item movement and Retalix Bill Back Manager for capturing earned promotional dollars from suppliers. The company expects to begin deploying Retalix Store for back door receiving in April and plans to be using it in all stores by the summer.
Since 2004, the regional independent has also subscribed to StoreNext's Connected Store Reporting and Analytics and Connected Loss Prevention, part of the company's robust suite of Internet-based applications for store management and operational analysis.
